Mother's Morning / Emily's Afternoon

Mother's Day was shortened to Mother's Morning in Austin, so we could also celebrate Emily's 18th birthday in the afternoon. We had a great morning at church and then tacos at Rudy's. Last night we went to The Grove for dinner and everybody had a chance to affirm Emily. I can't believe she is 18 and headed to college! We are so proud of her in so many ways, including her beauty, sense of style, sense of humor, passion for life, smarts, and athletic abilities.

Nuggets this summer is now dedicated to Pop, so today we celebrate the Braves who swept the Cardinals over the weekend and moved into first place. They open a series tonight against Cincinnati. And congrats to Sea Island resident Matt Kuchar, who won The Players yesterday!
