Austin City Limits
Austin City Limits: Rodrigo y Gabriela
I went to my first concert on Monday night at the new ACL location, which opened two years ago in downtown Austin. Austin City Limits is the longest playing live music television program, soon to be in its 38th season. I went as the guest of our neighbor, Clay Arendes. We enjoyed the unique music of guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela, backed by a 6-piece Cuban orchestra. Noticed that Austin City Limits and KLRU-TV were recently honored with a Peabody Award. The George Foster Peabody Awards have a unique and special tie to the University of Georgia.
