In my view, Trey has flourished in Atlanta. He has gotten himself entrenched with a great team at work and has made relationships with some great people at USI. USI is a stepping stone for him, but an important one. I have been lucky enough to be involved in that. It's great to have another family member in my business. I look forward to many more opportunities to take Trey out to lunch or for a round of golf on the company's expense.
Emily: Happy Birthday, Uncle Trey Trey! I really appreciate how much help Trey always is. Whether it’s inviting the Singletary’s to stay in his home, cooking up fajitas on the grill, walking Kevin for us when we had a lot going on, playing with Collins for hours on the beach, AND helping out with baby Vince - he does it all without ever complaining, and I’m so happy we have Uncle Trey Trey around! It’s been fun to see Trey grow in his career, and I know there are a lot of good things to come for Lu and Trey!
Kyle: Trey, as you know, I despise this little birthday game we play, which feels like 45 times a year. However, I couldn’t stiff you on your birthday. It’s been awesome to see you grow in your work life, grow as an uncle, and grow as a husband and brother-in-law. Keep at it, and enjoy your birthday with America’s milestone.
Lucy: I adore Trey because he is so fun, easy-going, and the best partner. We have spent a lot of time together this past year, moving to another new city where we didn’t know a soul, but there really isn’t anyone else I’d rather spend every single day with! Even though we’ve been slow to find our groove in Atlanta, I am so lucky that being at home with Trey means good grilling and cocktails, lots of exercise, and plenty of jokes!! Who needs plans when you have a great husband??? I truly don’t know what I would have done this year without him. Happy happy birthday #42!!! And happy anniversary, too :)
Peach: Happy Birthday, Trey! You are the quiet but steadfast member of our family, always there to support each of us in your own dependable way. Your dry wit never misses a trick, and you always know just the right thing to say. I'm so looking forward to spending lots of time with you in Atlanta. I can't wait to join you on some runs and make more great memories together. Hope this year brings you happiness, good health, and plenty of adventures. Love you!
gPa: Trey, I appreciate your quiet confidence. You never need to be the loudest person in the room or the center of attention. Instead, you simply show up, work hard, take care of the people you love, and let your actions speak for themselves. That’s a rare quality. Watching you and Lucy build a life together has been a joy, and it’s clear from everything everyone has shared that you’ve become an anchor for this family. As your father-in-law, I remain delighted that I went three-for-three and landed athletic sons-in-law who enjoy sports. Happy Birthday, T-Bar, and looking forward to being in the ATL with you soon.
