Sally,Emily had the first tee time in District play yesterday morning, teeing off at 7:30 a.m. This photo taken with little light as she prepared to play her second shot on the first hole at historic Lions Municipal Golf Course.
She played beautifully, dedicating her round to Pop. Here is a shot of her golf ball, which is usually marked with a simple 'E'. She shot a 76 with three birdies, hitting a personal best 12 greens in regulation.
Back at it today for round two and our prayers are with Pop, as E puts a little extra 'pop' on her ball.
