Today is the first day that we are all back in our regular routines after a fun holiday season. You start classes at UGA, Emily and Lucy enter week two of back-to-school, mom and dad enter week two of back-to-work. It is raining here in Austin, which we desperately need so not complaining, just hoping the roads are safe for mom as she heads out to visit schools.
Emily and I had a fun time in the first inaugural 'Tom Kite Parent Child' event at the club yesterday. We managed to get it under 80 and finish in second place, noting that the first place trophy went to little Sadie Engleman and her dad. Sadie is all of 75 pounds and in the 4th grade. Lucy had a successful two day dance clinic in San Marcus over the weekend. She is really turning into quite a little dancer and working hard. I am proud of her!
