There is exciting news this week from The Sun Conference Championships where our NAIA top-ranked SCAD Women held on to take first place by three shots over Embry-Riddle. Congratulations Lady Bees for your outstanding season and special kudos to Alazne Urizar, who took the individual title and was voted The Sun Conference Player of the Year and to Coach Workman for being selected The Sun Conference Women's Coach of the Year! In two weeks, the men's team will compete for The Sun Conference Championship as well. The men had a strong tournament recently at the TSC Spring Invite, with a 4th place finish. This tournament is a preview to their championship, as most of The Sun Conference teams competed.

There is less than a month for the women to now prepare for the 19th Annual NAIA Women's Golf National Championship, which will take place at Wilderness Ridge Golf Club in Lincoln, NE on May 21-24.
