WPW: Wine time

Lucy,

Remember meeting Beth (front and center in photo) at D'Grande, the Tex-Mex Restaurant in Chiswick over the holidays. D'Grande (means Big D as in DALLAS) was opened by ex-pats Richard Burghardt and his wife Ashley, who found they missed their go-to comfort food. They couldn't find good Tex-Mex anywhere in London, so they decided to open a restaurant.

Beth invited Mom to join the Richmond ex-pat Wine Club, a highlight of the New Year. They meet every 'Woman Power Wednesday' from 4PM until 6PM. It is a fun and diverse group and has provided a nice uptick in our social life in our new village, as our network in Richmond grows.

Hope your WPW is going well,

Dad

Trey made the spot on Beth and the UGA shirt at D'Grande. The picture above is with D'Grande owner, Richard Burghardt who is from College Station, TX! Richard's father is Dr. Robert Burghardt, who is a long-time Professor, the College of Veterinary Medicine. Small world!
